long time no post!

my definition of spring break didn't quite come to fruition during my actual spring break!

wow. that was a tough "break" to say the least! we headed to california to retrieve my mother because the state was about to take her from her home. she suffers from a multitude of mental health issues that haven't been diagnosed as of yet and was, well, not happy with all the extra "help" we had come over to her home. we had a few violent outbursts that i am not pleased that emilee was subjected to, but, she ultimately handled it very well for a 5 year old. she knew right off the bat th… Continue

aaaaaaaaah, the weekend . . .

i am so glad it's saturday! honestly, i was so glad it was friday ~ i guess i'm just feeling glad these days! i have been so nervous about this whole trip to cali to get my mom and sister. more my mom, not really my sister. we haven't told her [my mom] yet that we got her a little apartment at the gardens of st elizabeth. naps are good

i have been running around for the last three weeks on minimal sleep. this past sunday marking the beginning of week three mind you. it would be borderline self-abuse i think, however, i haven't completely done it to myself. it all started with not feeling good. if ever you don't feel good, whatever you do, DO NOT verbalize it! every time i feel crappy, i try to keep my mouth shut about it. if ever i do say it out loud, all of a sudden, i feel even worse. and then it's all down hill from… Continue
